The scent of Rotorua

After a lovely Bed&Breakfast stay and visit to Hamilton Gardens it was time to head to the smelly steams of Rotorua on the second of January!

Hear, hear!

But this time we were lazy and chose to drive...

Through a jungle!

Over the hills of Middle Earth.

A huge hound.

Onnibus has spread to New Zealand!

We reached Rotorua, a smelly little town inland.

Illiteracy helps keeping calm.

What's steaming?

Our feet!

Ah! The water was really hot!

Also available for small feet.

The sign was clear.

We disobeyed.

The results were convincing.

A steamed Finn.

Some pools were muddy, some were clear!

Rotorua is a Maori culture hotspot.

There was a forest of giant redwoods!

This was sold in the forest, for him.
Greetings from the woods!

The trees were interesting also to smell.

This one had dimensions.

Rotorua town hall and museum. Lawn ball is the name of the game.

Our hotel was next to a horse racing track!
Across the tracks glooms the smelly lake Rotorua.

See ya!

Gallop away!
