Parks and more

Parks are plentiful in Brisbane, which is good as families with babies need a lot of action outside.

Rise and shine, time to head out!

A giant cricket couldn't fend us off.

This park is next to the river. The tree is huge.

Slightly worried look due to the playarea ending abruptly to the river without a fence in between.

Many things are phobited in this park. No interference with vegetation!

Somebody was working out.

This one was working out happily.

Smile!

After workout it's time for lunch.

The Burrow is one of our favourites. The shared tiramisu was gargantuous.

Roma Street Parklands are a quiet nook just near to the CBD. The Zeppelin followed us.

BBQ facilities are good as always.

Exciting walkways.

Hanging flowers.

A beehive.
Apparently, bees don't feed on flowers directly next to the hive as they are reserved to be used as bee-latrines.

Challenges for the pram. Up and away!

Flowers are present all year round.

As are families.

What's wrong?

Spiders in the sky!

A band was playing at the amphitheatre.

For the love of music.

Not for profit.

Some areas in parks are reserved for functions.

Facilities are excellent. A clean toilet complex.

Spot the undercover wildlife.

Orderly plants.

Lizard!

There are at least five lizards in this picture.

The lizard didn't move so we wouldn't notice it.

The cafe has flowers.

Playgrounds are one main reason for going to parks!

The other is barbeques.

Salad is all good.

A family burger.

A possumhouse. Possums are territorial so this housing prevents others invading nearby rooftops.

Sandal tan.

Parks are dark after sunset.

This one had lighting.

There were children in the darkness.

A full moon in the park.

All good! Enjoy parks!
